Systems Engineering
Systems Engineering provides the structured, lifecycle based approach needed to develop complex capabilities with clarity, traceability and technical rigour. AXIAH supports organisations from the earliest stages of the systems engineering V model, helping them articulate operational needs, capture user intent and translate high level aims into coherent, achievable and testable requirements. We specialise in requirements analysis, derivation and management, including the development of applied concept documents such as Concept of Employment (CONEMP) and Concept of Use (CONUSE), and the production of formal requirements artefacts such as User Requirements Documents (URDs) and System Requirements Documents (SRDs).
Systems Engineering at AXIAH incorporates robust requirements governance and configuration control, ensuring that requirements remain traceable from user needs through to design, implementation and acceptance. We support organisations in establishing structured requirements baselines, managing change, and ensuring that derived system, sub system and component level requirements are coherent, non contradictory and technically justified. This disciplined approach ensures that system behaviour is predictable, well understood and resilient to changes in design, technology or operational context.
Throughout integration, test readiness and acceptance phases, AXIAH embeds strong verification and validation (V&V) practices to ensure the delivered system meets its defined requirements and intended purpose. We help organisations plan verification activities, support evaluation against SRD level requirements, and prepare for validation against the URD and operational expectations. Our systems engineering approach ensures these activities are integrated into the lifecycle from the outset. This structured, requirements led model enables customers to deliver systems that are coherent, defensible, reliable and ready for operational use.
